Gilmer to Gananoque!

The Gananoque Islanders have acquired goaltender John Gilmer from the South Stormont Mustangs in exchange for cash considerations.

Gilmer, who is familiar with the EOSHL, has started 45 career games—spanning from South Grenville (2021-2024) to South Stormont (2024). Over those games, he has a record of 21-21-2-1, with a 5.40 goals-against average (GAA) and a .867 save percentage. This season, he holds a 3-2-0 record, a 5.03 GAA, and a .857 save percentage.

In 14 career playoff games, Gilmer has posted a 6-5-0 record, with a 4.32 GAA, a .886 save percentage, and one shutout.
