Important Statement Regarding Recent Incident Involving OSHL Co-Owner Jamie PetrieĀ

We want to address a recent incident involving Jamie Petrie, the co-owner of the Ontario Super Hockey League (OSHL), who has been allegedly involved in an altercation with another coach/team owner. First and foremost, we want to make it clear that the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) is in no way affiliated with the OSHL or its management.

This unfortunate event is not representative of the values we uphold here at the EOSHL. We believe in fostering a safe and respectful environment for all players, coaches, and fans. We are aware that this is not the first time the named has been involved in physical altercations with fans or staff from other league's teams, and we want to reassure our community that such behavior does not align with our principles.

At the EOSHL, we take pride in our commitment to accountability. We hold our players, coaches, and staff to the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Our goal is to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where individuals can focus on developing their skills, enjoying the game, building strong community ties and contributing to a vibrant, competitive league.

We will continue to ensure that our players and staff feel safe, respected, and valued, and we will always prioritize providing our fans with top-tier hockey entertainment. The EOSHL remains dedicated to upholding the standards of professionalism and sportsmanship that you, our loyal fans, deserve.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the rink, where passion and respect for the game come first.
