Player Safety Announcement
The EOSHL takes player safety seriously, and as part of our commitment to ensuring a fair and safe environment for all, we have issued suspensions to two players of the Gananoque Islanders following recent events during a game. These decisions were made after careful consideration of the incident's context, including the history of the players involved and the intent behind their actions.
Player safety is the cornerstone of our league. We must uphold not only the physical well-being of our athletes but also the integrity of the game. History plays an important role in our decisions, as we must consider previous actions and patterns to ensure fairness and consistency.
We remain dedicated to maintaining a competitive environment where all players can enjoy the game safely and responsibly. Thank you to our fans, teams, and players for continuing to support these values.
Islanders #44 has been suspended indefinitely, with a term no less than the end of the 24/25 regular season.

The league believes it's important to share these events with the public and our players to maintain transparency and trust within the EOSHL community. By openly addressing suspension such as these and disciplinary actions, we ensure that all participants understand the standards of conduct expected and the consequences of actions that jeopardize player safety. This openness reinforces our commitment to fairness, accountability, and the integrity of the game, fostering a respectful environment for everyone involved.
Thank you,
