Smiths Falls Advances to Western Final

For the second consecutive year, the Smiths Falls Rideaus are heading to the Western Conference Final after defeating the Madawaska Valley Wolves 7-6 in a must-win Game 5 to advance.

The Rideaus now face the Gananoque Islanders in the Western Final, looking to avenge their 4-game series loss to the eventual 2024 champions.

In six playoff games, Rideaus sniper Tate Leeson has led the charge with 8 goals and 8 assists, including a league-leading 3 game-winning goals.

Goaltender Dallas Slack has come up with crucial, Texas-sized saves at key moments to help secure victories in the late stages of games. In 6 games, Slack boasts a 4-2 record, a 3.36 goals-against average, and a .895 save percentage, along with one assist on the scoresheet.

The Rideaus will travel to Gananoque this Sunday, March 16, to take on the defending champions at 5:30 PM!
